Able to understand core Java concepts, analyze the Java code, good understanding of J2EE web
architecture, working knowledge of the Spring and hibernate framework, some exposure to PL/SQL
concepts and Intermediate level expertise in SOAP based web services.
In addition, the candidate should have good understanding of at least 3 of below listed concepts:

    Summary –
    This senior technical role will focus on distributed applications – Portfolio Viewer (web
    applications/APIs/SOAP/REST), Falcon, Dispute Case Manager, and the Integrated Data Repository
    (to include batch). Knowledge of Java, Oracle DBs, TOAD, Splunk, and Dynatrace are also required.
    Detailed Job Description –
    Highly proficient in supporting Portfolio Viewer (web applications/APIs/SOAP/REST), Falcon, Dispute
    Case Manager, and the Integrated Data Repository (to include batch). Expert level knowledge of
    Java, Oracle DBs, TOAD, Splunk, and Dynatrace are also required.
    • Provide the required support for all operational aspects of distributed applications by
    business operations unit
    o Collaborate with and provide technical support where required to both internal and
    external customer testing teams to ensure predefined release schedules are not
    impacted.
    o Provide timely and effective on 7×24 on call support to address BAU operational tasks
    and customer impacting events.
    o Contribute to and participate in all relevant business operations meetings and technical
    response team activities.
    o Provide technical assessments for portfolio viewer and all other interdependent
    application changes.
    o Maintain and update procedures and documentation in support of annual disaster
    recovery exercises.
    o Provide portfolio viewer operational training for appropriate support teams in support of
    annual recovery exercises.
    o Adhere to existing process and change control requirements while utilizing change control
    tools GSM & Remedy.
    • Provide support for all aspects of architecture and technical refresh initiatives for the
    portfolio viewer application, Falcon and Dispute Case Manager:
    o Participate in design and requirement review meetings in relation to all portfolio
    architecture upgrade initiatives.
    o In working with internal platform services team review and provide technical assessments
    of all architecture based upgrades and or configuration changes.
    o Perform pre and post architecture upgrade platform performance analysis. And as appropriate perform application tuning to address and or enhance hardware (CPU, DISK & IO) performance.
    • Provide technical and implementation support for application code & configuration enhancements
    o Collaborate with development & business operations teams as required to deploy application code upgrades, enhancements and defect remediation fixes.
    o Provide detailed implementation and blackout procedures as required for code and configuration deployments.
    o Review all primary and third-party vendor software documentation relevant to all operating system upgrade and patching initiatives.
